Supporting Change in The Manufactured Housing Industry
We miss the good old days. We have so many wonderful memories of staying up all night at the MHI Congress and Expo and the Louisville, Tunica and manufacturer shows, talking to our peers about how exciting the future of manufactured housing was and how lucky we were to be a part of it.
Unfortunately, some new people discovered our industry that didn't share our enthusiasm and have been working hard to tear down everything that the wonderful manufactured housing industry has accomplished by making personal attacks on leaders and stressing the negative instead of the positive. We have always promised to share the positive news about our industry, and there are so many great things going on we have trouble keeping up!
The Manufactured Housing Institute with their talented, forward-thinking leadership has been working hard to keep us moving forward, and the exceptional panels of industry leaders that have been held lately are a representation of the talent and ideas that are moving us forward.
Recently MHI announced their newest way to target the future buyers of factory built housing - a Major Consumer Research Initiative. A task force that is made up of the leaders in our industry have just started putting this together, and already we are hearing how important this could be to the future of our industry. As much as we would love to be in the room voicing our opinions, we have complete faith in this group and trust their leadership. You can read the press release about this here.
We know we aren't the only ones that feel that way, and thought others might want to join us in showing our support for this initiative and its leadership. If you would like to add your voice and support to the important work that this group is doing, please click on the link below and add your name to a collection that we will be presenting to the Initiative at the MHI Congress and Expo. You don't have to be a member of MHI to be included - we think it's important that MHI knows how much consumers appreciate the work they do as well. You can also leave a note on the MHI website.
We are really looking forward to returning to the excited, optimistic industry we have enjoyed so much in the past and we can't wait to celebrate this with some of you in Las Vegas May 2 - 4th!
