American Housing Advocates

American Housing Advocates was founded by housing industry veterans Suzanne Felber and Bruce Savage, the group will promote the positive values that today’s factory-built homes offer to consumers who are not fully aware of the value that today’s homes offer. “Far too many people don’t fully appreciate the tremendous strides that have been made in factory-built homes,” Felber and Savage stated. “We are great believers in the value these homes offer to millions of Americans struggling to own their own homes and we want to carry this message forward using every means – both traditional and new media – we can to let people know about this important housing option.”

Founded by housing industry veterans Suzanne Felber and Bruce Savage, the group will promote the positive values that today’s factory-built homes offer to consumers who are not fully aware of the value that today’s homes offer.

Savage served as Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs for the Manufactured Housing Institute from 1982 through 2007 where he was a strong advocate for the manufactured and modular housing industries. He also served as editor of MODERN HOMES, a quarterly magazine focusing on the attributes and value of factory-built housing. A former owner of a manufactured home for more than 15 years, Savage has experienced first-hand the tremendous advances that factory-building technologies deliver today and how these homes represent one of the best values in today’s housing marketplace. Savage is a recognized communications and marketing consultant to both housing and non-housing clients.

The group will be sharing information on today's modern homes in the various forms of social media as well as traditional avenues.  We look forward to sharing examples of consumers personal homes, communities that feature factory built homes, model homes, and information about the industry.
